A slow house, gathered slowly.
Aya & Co is a travelling studio. We meet weavers, potters, stone-cutters, furniture-makers and glass-blowers in their rooms and workshops — and we bring a few of their pieces home with us.
Every object has a story we can name: the village, the maker, the season, the reason it is shaped the way it is. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is anonymous. Our hope is that the rooms you build with these pieces will feel both particular and at ease — the way a well-worn linen sheet or a hand-thrown bowl does.
We work today on projects in London, Hampshire, the Carolinas, California, Croatia, Colorado, Cleveland and Singapore — sourcing, commissioning and styling homes for clients who want their interior to feel like a life, not a showroom.
